Graignamanagh GAA Club was saddened at the recent passing of Liam Walsh RIP. Liam was a lifelong member of our club, a true gentleman and great friend. Liam served on the committee for a number of years, there is not a day that passed that Liam didn’t pay at least one visit to our playing field. He took great pride in the upkeep and maintenance of the field and he was one of the main instigators in the leveling and drainage of our grounds. Liam’s late wife Anne also was a very prominent and hardworking member of the Club and held a variety of positions including treasurer up until the time she became ill. At the removal on Wednesday morning the GAA Club along with over 130 children from the Cul Camps provided a very moving Guard of Honour. The huge numbers that turned out was a fitting tribute and showed the high esteem in which Liam was held in our Club and community.

The club would like to extend its sympathy to Karen, Ken & his family to Sue and to his brother Michael & Family and friends. Ar Dheis De Go Raibh a anam Dilis.
