Junior Hurlers need your support

On Saturday next at 3.30pm in Jenkinstown our Junior Hurlers take to the field to play what is probably one of the most important games in the history of our Club, albeit for all of the wrong reasons, but that is the position we find ourselves in, fighting to retain our Junior status. We have a very young developing team and we have been plagued by injuries throughout the year which didn’t help our cause. The Fenians Senior team exited the championship last weekend and now they will throw all their support behind their Junior team in their fight to stay up.

It’s a good spin up to Jenkinstown, the home of Conahy Shamrocks Club. (Head for kilkenny (take 3rd exit on Dublin road Roundabout-N77 signposted Durrow, 2nd exit on next 4 roundabouts and follow signs for Durrow. Continue on until signs for Jenkinstown on the right. Approx 44km)

The players need all the support they can get for this must win game as they strive to avoid relegation and retain their junior status. We urge every one of our members and supporters young and old to get behind the team on Saturday as we believe they are more than capable of doing the job.
